Pleated blinds are generally used in conservatories. As side window blinds as they can offer solar protection, saving damage to furniture and floor coverings. As roof blinds they can keep your room cooler in summer. Fabrics available are in translucent, solar protected and blackout, using pastel shades and rich colours. There are two types of pleated blinds, single pleat and double pleat.

An important advantage of double pleated blinds is their high insulating power and the protection they give against harmful UV radiation due to their unique honeycomb structure which traps a layer of air between the pleats.
